Challenger Deck 2020 – Flash of Ferocity
For the uninitiated, Challenger Decks are individual, 75-card decks geared toward Standard play for the Friday Night Magic player. Each deck comes with a 60-card main deck and 15-card sideboard and is intended to be playable and competitive at a local level right out of the box. All cards will have been previously printed in Standard and are Standard-legal.
The idea behind Flash of Ferocity is to basically never tap mana on your own turn, but instead leave all your mana open which lets you respond to your opponent’s actions or flash in threats like Brineborn Cutthroat or Wildborn Preserver. The deck really dominates when you can resolve and protect a Nightpack Ambusher onto the battlefield.
